Well I've been playing music since I was about seven or eight, beginning with the Flute. I wrote my first piece of music at about ten or twelve, I don't remember exactly, which was called the Glass Cave. I've always admired John Williams' work and one day I said to myself, 'Why can't I do that.' So I tried composing something and came up with the Glass Cave, which I later rearranged out of it's original solo version into the one that now exists. After that I fell in love with writing my own music and just music in general. Now at the age of sixteen I've written quite a few songs, and have learned to play two more instruments, Piccolo and Bass Guitar. I hope that you can tell I love music, and plan to compose much more. Currently I'm working on my first arrangement for Band and not MIDI. I am adapting Legend of the Dark Mage, a medieval Scottish sort of sounding song, for my high school band to be played, if all goes well, in teh spring concert. I haven't really got too much of a specialty, since I enjoy writing pretty much any kind of music, short of Country/Western. My favorites though are movie soundtracks, which I write for the silly teenage movies I direct and write (for the most part), Techno songs, like Flux and Up the Wall, and the rockish songs that I write mainly for my new band SiGMA. I also have the habit of writing songs for characters and scenes in the Science-Fiction book that I am working on writing called DAC 14, and also for another story that I plan to write after DAC 14 called A Chainlink Highway. Other than playing and writing music I enjoy collecting bad old Science Fiction movies, bowling(badly), writing(as you can tell), online games, and generally mingling with my multitude of friends and the rest of the human race. I'll get a picture for you all soon if you like, and in the meantime be creative. Your imagination is the only limit with music.
